SDGs Implementation

Our focus :

In order to accomplish the Sustainable Development Goals, we wish to transform a hamlet in Bangladesh into an SDG Model Zone.and arrange the entire country of Bangladesh in accordance with that model zone, which will enable the accomplishment of the 17 SDGs.

The SDG model zone will be as follows:

No Poverty: Providing access to work opportunities, social safety nets, and needs of life in order to end poverty in all of its manifestations. We want to set up a system where the goods made by the underprivileged farmers are sold overseas and they are paid fairly. In Bangladesh, 70% of the population works in agriculture. Of them, 50–60% of farmers are impoverished. Because they do not receive a fair price for their labor-intensive crop production. Entertainers enter and claim their portion of the earnings. Broker class individuals purchase crops from these farmers at a discount, travel to the market, and resell for a premium. Consequently, the farmers continue to live in poverty, and these middlemen intervene to split the earnings. In order to give these impoverished farmers and their family a better life, I wish to stick with them.

In order to keep them out of the hands of any sort of middleman with their output, we would like to set things up so they may sell their goods directly overseas. I’ve managed to set up the sale of goods made by underprivileged farmers in a few communities on Amazon, Alibaba, and Walmart in order to achieve this goal. These farmers have thereby made several times more money than the going rate in the area market. We have successfully shipped their goods both domestically and internationally. Consequently, a just price is being paid to these impoverished farmers and their families for the goods. Many impoverished farmers in this globe do not receive a fair price for their produce. The crops are not getting the correct price because of the inadequate communication system, or they fall prey to intermediaries who sell the produce for a low price. They still live in poverty as a result. They are becoming less interested in farming as a result. If appropriate action is not taken in this regard right away, there could be a decline in the global farming population, global threats, and a food catastrophe. There won’t be enough food crops to meet demand if farmers don’t grow,we want these farmers to have the chance to sell their goods on the global market and to be paid fairly for them. Brokers ought not to receive class. This will make them want to farm again.

Zero Hunger: Encouraging sustainable agriculture, enhancing food security, and guaranteeing that every citizen has access to wholesome food.

Good Health: Enhancing healthcare services, fostering mental health, and guaranteeing access to necessary healthcare facilities and services are all components of good health and well-being.

Quality Education: Providing inclusive and equitable quality education, encouraging opportunities for lifelong learning, and guaranteeing that everyone, regardless of gender, race, or socioeconomic status, has access to education are all components of quality education.

Gender Equality: empowering all women and girls and achieving gender equality by providing them with equitable access to economic, medical, and educational opportunities.

Clean Water and Sanitation: ensuring that people have access to sanitary facilities and clean water, encouraging water efficiency, and enhancing water quality in order to safeguard ecosystems and public health.

Affordable and Clean Energy: encouraging the use of renewable energy sources, improving energy efficiency, and making sure that everyone has access to reasonably priced, dependable electricity.

Decent Work and Economic Growth: Promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth, fostering entrepreneurship, and ensuring decent work opportunities and social protection for all.

Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure: Building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and fostering innovation to support sustainable development.

Reduced Inequality: fostering social, economic, and political inclusion and guaranteeing equal opportunities for all in order to reduce inequality both inside and across nations.

Sustainable Cities and Communities: achieving inclusive, secure, resilient, and sustainable cities and human settlements through sound infrastructure development, urban planning, and provision of essential services.

Responsible Consumption and Production: encouraging habits of sustainable production and consumption, cutting back on waste production, and making sure that natural resources are managed sustainably.

Climate Action: putting mitigation and adaptation plans into practice as well as encouraging climate resilience in order to fight climate change and its effects as soon as possible.

Life Below Water: preventing ocean acidification, pollution, and overfishing; safeguarding marine ecosystems; and conserving and managing marine resources sustainably.

Life on Land: reducing land degradation, stopping the loss of biodiversity, fighting desertification, and supporting the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems.

Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions: fostering inclusive and peaceful societies, making sure that everyone has access to justice, and creating inclusive, accountable, and successful institutions at all levels.

Partnerships for the Goals: bolstering the tools of execution and reviving international alliances for sustainable development through improving collaboration between public and commercial sectors.

To achieve these objectives, Bangladesh would need to work with foreign partners, the business sector, civil society, and the government to solve a range of socioeconomic and environmental issues, support sustainable development, and guarantee the welfare of all citizens.
